Canatella Custom Builders is owned by J.D. Canatella, who was born and raised in Harford County, Maryland. J.D.'s career has revolved around providing residential development products and services to residents of Harford and Baltimore Counties. His vision to build historically accurate, detailed, custom homes is inspired by his personal love and passion for the rich history and architecture of Colonial Williamsburg.

In fact, J.D.'s own home serves as an example of the quality products and craftsmanship you will secure when you choose Canatella Custom Builders to construct your new home. Determined to replicate a Williamsburg colonial style home for his own family, J.D. and his wife Ashley began collecting photographs from the quaint Virginia town, compiling more than 1,000 images that were ultimately "mixed and matched" to create a vision for their own dream home. Today, J.D., Ashley and their three children live in that home in Fallston, Maryland.

J.D. is licensed by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC# 128204) and is a member of the Maryland Homebuilders Registry (MHBR# 6654).
